Isabel TRACY born 1819
married Hugh McNulty of County Donegal in 1851. In her 1906 obituary published
in an American newspaper it was reported that Isabel was married in the town of
her birth - Arderth (sic), County Fermanagh. The information for the obituary
was provided by her illiterate son-in-law who was also from County Fermanagh.
Have searched church records of western Fermanagh looking for a record of this
marriage without success. Could Arderth be a mis-spelling of an official name
like Ardgart or Ardess? Or is it a colloquial name that is unrecorded?
